Economies of the world are not doing well since long back. The foremost reason, in my view, is that economics as a subject per se has been delinked from resource management and has rather been reduced to be merely the currency management. As natural resources are being grossly ignored by the modern conceptualizers of development, sustainability has become a mirage for the mankind. None of the today’s invention can really through the test of the time. The thought process in general has been vitiated so much so that the mankind has fallen divided between the developmentalists and the naturalists. Is there any feasibility to revivify the wisdom of honoring nature’s bounds while pursuing prosperity (rather not the wealth what today’s economy teaches us to chase) that used to be commonly prevailing in ancient civilizations?
